Content Marketing Executive

We are looking for a proactive, motivated and hardworking individual to help take our successful and growing business to the next level. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in communications or journalism. You must have previous experience in creating online content and have strong copywriting and proof-reading skills. If you are bright, fun, passionate about writing and someone who can learn fast and perform well in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Your day-to-day role will be:

  • Developing and coordinating our annual content marketing strategy for ROBUS and National Lighting to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention. This includes
    • Social Media Content
    • Email Content
    • Newsletters
    • Website Articles
    • Trade and Consumer Press where appropriate and
    • Others if applicable
  • Owning the end-to-end content creation process for ROBUS and National Lighting including but not limited to Case Studies, Newsletters, Blog Posts, Website articles, Press Releases.
  • Coming up with ideas and creating useful content for customers
  • Ensuring all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, tone of voice and quality
  • Build strong internal and external relationships with product and partner teams
  • Research:  Monitoring brand activity and mentions online and in print
  • Database Management
  • Working with the Marketing team to create video content
  • Generating reports on content performance
  • Applying for awards

Experience required:

  • 3+ years’ experience in content creation (for technology brand – desirable but not essential) 
  • Excellent knowledge of English Grammar
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills along with fluent written and spoken English 
  • Editorial mind-set with a strong ability to analyse and present content performance 
  • Experience working on WordPress, Expression Engine or Google Analytics an advantage
